“Wait why doesn’t everyone just use WhatsApp?”
You know what if I told you? there is actually two ways that you can use iMessage on an Android phone? So the first version actually does require you to have a Mac as well. so you might have heard something called error message so you're still signed into an Apple ID on that Mac and then your Mac basically is used as a server to forward the messages to your Android phone. So this works as long as the Mac is always connected to the internet at all times. But then there's a second method.
So there's an app that's called Beeper. This one is invite only right now, but it's hopefully opening up soon. This app is literally made to integrate all of your messages in one place. Your texts your WhatsApp messages and that includes iMessage by having you log into an Apple ID which is pretty cool, but it also makes me slightly suspicious that what's really happening is you're logging into your Apple ID on someone else's Mac in some server Farm somewhere.
So as long as you're comfortable with that, then this is a pretty cool solution that works. But hey, if you really want the blue bubbles with an Android phone, technically, you can have it.
BLUE BUBBLES . BLUE. BUBBLES. GAGA FOR BLUE BUBBLES
Nothing comes to clutch here 😂
In my opinion, it's the blue bubbles that are the problem. If iMessage users are currently complaining about not being able to exit group texts, that's an iPhone problem, not an Android concern. I shouldn't be "forced" to buy an iPhone to solve your messaging problem. The iMessage users should be complaining to Apple about not being able to exit group text messages and make Apple adopt RCS or some other fix! We Android users don't have this issue, so it's NOT OUR ANDROID ISSUE! Don't blame Android for your iOS iMessage lacking! ALL Android manufacturers have an agreement with Google to install Google Messages as the default messaging app, so ALL Android users have access to RCS and can utilize SECURE text messaging across ALL Android devices if they use Google Messages. However, Google is also working to incorporate Messaging Layer Security (MLS 9420) into native Android for support for all messaging apps on Android. This will allow any messaging app (Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Google Messages, Samsung Messages, etc.) on Android to talk to each other and be encrypted, even in group chats. The ONLY time insecure texting will arise is when an iPhone with iMessage gets involved in the conversation. If Apple would incorporate RCS into iMessage, then NO ONE would get a blue/green bubble, no text messages would be unencrypted, and it would be the end of pixelated videos sent between Apple and non-Apple devices. As iPhone users, YOU should be complaining to Apple to incorporate RCS if for no other reason than for your OWN texting encryption security! Given that Apple iPhones will be the ONLY devices with unencrypted, insecure texting, I'd say the blue bubbles are now the problem, not the green bubbles! Of course, with the aid of the EU pressuring Apple, perhaps RCS may be coming to iPhones soon anyway. Also, as for iMessage for Android, why on Earth would I pay Apple to use their messages app when Google Messages will do everything iMessage will do for FREE!
Is thos some sort of joke that I am too Whatsapp/Telegram to understand?
Loving WhatsApp even more when I see this 😊
Oh the problems of a higher society 😔
Why?
The lengths people will go for a fucking color…
So useless, I love android and I don't need this
Who cares? All the iSheep can continue on as they wish. If they don't like the color of my message bubble, screw 'em
Why should I care about iMessage? Don't they still use SMS/MMS, while android uses a more modern RCS? Who cares really about a blue bubble, I know I never ever thought about it or cared.
Lol the number of 🤬's I give if my messages is green:
-6,429
I'm rounding up.
