You know what would be a GREAT feature on a new Magic Keyboard for iPad? A battery inside the spine of the keyboard that can charge your iPad one the go, sort of like how the MagSafe battery pack worked for the iPhone.

Does it help protect the screen I want to get one for my iPad Pro for work and school but I wanna make sure it’s able to protect from scratches
Tried it and the iPad isn't fixed firmly enough to the keyboard for this to be a real "case". I'd really like to see a version without magnets but instead simple corner wrappers on the case — like on a 10$ case — holding the iPad firmly in place and also protecting it if dropped.

Isn’t the point being that it’s supposed to be hybrid? Everyone knows the iPad isn’t a laptop and the keypad is purely an accessory to aid functionally. And this keypad does it very well.
My logic tech case/keyboard is getting old I’ve had it for about 3 1/2 years, the magnet strip or part of it for the bottom that connects to the base have came out but I’ve taped them back in place and it still works but I’m tired of touching the screen,
I think I’d rather keep this or buy another and just get a independent track pad or mouse from logic. My case now has a lot that this doesn’t have while not as pretty it works and seems better especially since it was at most 200 bucks but I’m sure it was less
I use the ipad with my mac full keyboard when at home, when i go out i take it with the keyboard folio so if i need to tske some quick notes or drop a quick mail it is available for me
