i hope that you realise, these are not designed to sound good. they are designed to give as flat and as accurate a response across the range as possible so that recording artists can find faults in their recordings. playing songs back through them sounds bland and boring. they are not for people who think they know true audio quality who blatantly don't. and since you said on your bose companion 2 review that the speakers had highs and mids is bullshit. they have mid-highs and no mid-range
