The US has Verizon, the French have Orange ! Those dudes are grandmasters at bloatware and delayed updates…they even change the themes of the phones to a mandatory "orange and black" colored theme, and replace even the browser. When I used to have a HTC Desire HD from them, the Orange bloatware took up to half the RAM usage…
They are also making it more reliant on non open source software.
