Both the G2 and the G3 hardware died on me after a short use. Anybody else got stuck in the infamous boot loops? Yeeaah i stayed the hell away from LG after that.

Ive been using an LG since the like 2009. Had a g2 g3 and now im watching this on my LGWing. All of my accessories and monitors are LG. Was I a fan boy? Na but they were always reliable. They were fun phones and will be missed.

I’m an iPhone guy from the jump but I owned the G3 Android along side my iPhone. It was my backup phone.

The LG android phones i owned over the years had all kinds of issues. Was never happy with an LG phone for long. They had some pretty interesting ideas but failed execution too often. They also really screwed the pooch with the g5, half the modules promised never actually released and the ones that did where underwhelming and overpriced. The massive widespread bootloop issues they had that persisted multiple generations didnt help either.

They should have just made a couple regular ass flagship phones minus all the half baked gimmicks.

How should LG's return to the smartphone market be in the opinion:

Nomenclature: Smartphones must have the name VELVET and a random letter, such as VELVET S or VELVET X.

Types of smartphones: should launch smartphones of all types, from basic to foldable.

Launch: should launch two lines of top-of-the-line smartphones such as Huawei, launch a basic and intermediate model per year, as well as Chinese brands, as OPPO does.

Bonus: she must manufacture her own processors.

can you test whether the "2021 flagship is better than the 2023 budget phone?"

One of my family members had an LG up until last year, and I had no idea they stopped selling phones. It was a mighty fine phone too, huge screen and cool features. Too bad it was owned by my grandparents and got a virus, and ended up showing us the black screen of death. I miss that thing.

LG made a lot of influential phones that I threw against the ground in frustration before I switched to Apple and never destroyed another phone again. Thanks, LG…Android. I’m much happier now.
