Galaxy S22 Ultra's space zoom (and a few other) have improved to 100x zoom and beyond... but will anyone use it?
Okay, so the iPhone 13 and 14 Pros has a 3X telephoto camera, right? So the absolute Max that you can zoom in on this phone is 15x total Zoom It looks okay, but Apple's definitely betting you won't really want to do much more than that. So then you've got Samsung and the space zoom in their Ultra phones. So this is the Galaxy s22 Ultra with two telephoto cameras so you can zoom to 3x 10x, 30X or go straight to 100x now I Don't know what you're going to do with this sort of reach, but it is surprisingly stable and once you snap the photo and then go to look at it, it processes and snaps into focus and you get a lot of usable detail. I Mean it's not a great shot by any means, but Samsung is hoping you'll find this useful.
I Personally hardly ever use space Zoom But the truth is they keep leveling it up every year. The first version of this two years ago was pretty bad, but here we are, tax and body who does Zoom all the way in on their phone.
I was able to take a picture of a baby fish that was smaller than an aquarium rock with 100x zoom on my dads phone
Thats nice but its a apple phone in which it was made in like 2008.

holding the s22 ultra rn and I can say I use this mainly just to see things far away like a sign or something 😂 actually useful from time to time

Showing the 100x is kinda disingenuous
Should have compared the completely washed out 15x from the iPhone
And even VS the 30x on the s22u probly looks better too
This zoom is better than my eyesight, and I sometimes use it to read things that are far away

So being alike to zoom in this much isn’t for pictures. It’s waaaay more useful if you use it to see stuff far away or zoom in on small text
Key word is "not a great shot" because while it's capable of something the iphone can't, the photo is definitely not usable

My brother and I are visually impaired so the zoom comes in handy a lot
The space zoom is perfect for taking pictures of the moon

Use it at 75 zoom than its usefull
