The idea of making this look like a desk is so limiting. Monitors / windows would float right in front of your eyes if they could—but they can’t so we have desks and external monitors.
In a world where they can float and be infinitely resizable, then make them that way.
The second they can squeeze this into a "sunglasses size" form factor they will get my money!
