App language will be so useful, I'm french but have everything in English because i like this it better but my banking app isn't to clear when it's in English.
Android, 11, 12, 13, and everything to come and most of what came before seem designed to keep us all hooked. Most of these upgrades are not even needed.

Custom ROMs are available faster than the OS from OEMs.
That app language selection is especially useful for Google Maps since an English nav voice assistant starts talking gibberish in any non-English home country when reading the road names etc.

per-app language setting on the OS level is really neat. Mostly I want to be using stuff in english, since that's going to be the highest quality, but for example some local banking or similar apps actually developed here would probably be better, or make more sense, in my native language.
