The world of laptops is sick: If it's not a gaming laptop, the other features matter even more!

Ok so i have this thing but, i guess it becoms slow laggy and choppy if you run it for a long time like when i am doing class… but over all its very good…and talking abt gaming it is pretty good like minecraft roblox etc run at constant 60 to 49 fps…

Your thumbs down ratio is horrible on this video. I suggest you pass on "General Videos" on tech thoughts you have because you have a buttt kissing following and they still hit you hard on the down votes, then again they probably paid you 50k for this video so maybe its a good idea. 🙂

Looking at lenovo's site right now, the thinkpad x1 nano starts at $2,479.00. That comes with 8gb soldered ram and a 256gb ssd. That is absolutely insane. That type of offering does not match your message that "cheap phones are getting good; good phones are getting cheap." It could, however, be an added requirement to the proposed 2021 "ultrabook" standard for decent build quality under-specced machines to be obscenely overpriced. But again, that goes against the grain of your thought mentioned in the video.

Yeah I'm on the same boat as everyone else here. Nothing wrong with a sponsor (even a long one), but just a change in title to accurately represent the video content would be appreciated. Thanks man!

Any trackpoint lovers here? I own a 13 inch macbook pro and if it wasn't for app compatibility (adobe) and work I would switch back to a thinkpad linux machine. Not going to lie but macs have something special going on with the m1 chip but it just feels like the ergonomics and feel of the machine is pretty bad compared to this.

I like the idea of this video, that everything is an ultrabook. Laptops have come a long way since my original chunky Acer laptop that could barely game. That being said, I think this video format could benefit from an approach I see in Linus's videos, where, while a sponsor may provide talking points or require the product to be showcased in the video, the video's topic and idea lie outside the sponsorship. I wanted to watch a video containing more than one laptop. I was interested in seeing a history, maybe, of the first ultrabooks to where we are now. I don't mind sponsors and I don't think anyone is overly upset about that specifically as much as the delivery. Love the content from you and your team, Marques. Peace!

Ultrabooks became a thing when Steve Jobs started pulling out macbook air from a conspicuous case – his paper envelope 😉

The tech is still terrible, these ULV processors are absolute trash, not only that they throttle INSANELY. I've got a $2300 Dell XPS 13 2n1 that has been horrible since they day I bought it. It throttles down to 1.2ghz. You can't delid and paste it because it's permanently attached. I want a good ultrabook so bad.. Make them a bit larger, stop competing on size. I've got 4 cores and 32gb of ram and it's useless. It's slow just running apps. I wish Apple would make a 2n1.

Wah wah wah, a bunch of babies crying about the ad they were forced to watch.
Y'all could have clicked off as soon as you became un interested. He got like 1000 other videos you can watch instead.

i didn't realize this was an advertisement until he was talking about the color being black for a second time.

Less offended that this is ad, more disturbed that Marques is endorsing Lenovo, computers banned by government agencies for their ties to Chinese spying.
