LG came out with "dynamic island" years before Apple and has more functionality than Apple's dynamic island.

I miss my V10. I loved being able to put that personal name on the second screen and loved the shortcuts.
My grandma had one of these back when they came out. Thought that secondary display was the coolest thing ever, and honestly it was kinda ahead of it's time.
I had the v10 , and the camera was crazy good!! I loved that you can use the main camera and front camera at the same time…

Yes it was gimmicky, but Apple did it anyway. Apple doesn’t really do gimmicks often. I’ll give them that one thought because it’s hard to think of new features to add to phones today. I love iPhone. There’s just something about the iPhone that makes it so hard to get off. I can’t say the same thing about Androids, and I’ve used both iOS and Android a lot.

So this is where the dynamic island came from, the idea was just stole from the iPhone. 🤔
This was the first phone I thought of when Apple introduced their dynamic island. I kept looking at reviews of this phone years ago and was so jealous I couldn't get my hands on it. It makes me very sad that LG was super overshadowed by the tech giants in the phone industry. LG was really innovative.

Man I'm not gonna lie the top app bar that LG introduced with this phone was so underated. Sad that it didn't make it to the future iterations for some reason and that it never caught on as a a feature.
